Abstract
Le présent article porte sur la « multirésidence » et l'hyper-mobilité dans la région de Toronto, qui se manifestent dans l'utilisation à grande échelle de résidences secondaires dans le centre de l'Ontario. Comment ces fameux « cottages » ontariens permettent-ils aux ménages, surtout ceux avec de jeunes enfants et des adolescents, de se situer dans l'espace et dans le temps? Suite à une étude minutieuse des patterns, usages, expériences et significations résidentiels que les ménages associent à l'utilisation du « cottage », cet article présente les résultats d'entrevues en profondeur (n=71) et d'un questionnaire en ligne (n=200). L'analyse des résultats permet de dégager des liens entre habitat, mobilité et sociabilité.
