Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The radiation-charged electret ionization-chamber uses an electret formed in situ by applying a bias voltage to the chamber electrodes while the chamber is being irradiated with X-rays. An electrometer permits measurement of the charge on the electret surface before and after the use of the chamber as a dosimeter. The authors present measurements of dosimeter range, sensitivity, and energy dependence as functions of bias potential, electrode separation, guard-ring size, and various materials. Reproducibility permits detection as low as 55 mu Gys with range up to 100's of cGys depending on the design of the chamber, with charge retention properties similar to those of electrets formed from corona discharge.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
