Abstract
À partir d'une analyse d'abord de type historique, on essaie de dégager les divers éléments qui présagent une nouvelle crise structurelle du système capitaliste. Grâce à une interprétation empruntée aux nouvelles tendances du marxisme contemporain, l'auteur passe en revue tour à tour l'évolution du monde capitaliste, des pays socialistes et des sociétés de la périphérie. Des tentatives de prospective essaient aussi de dégager diverses images possibles du système mondial en 1984, aussi bien du point de vue de l'économie que de l'idéologie.
