Abstract
Ce texte propose une réflexion critique sur la question des jeunes et les transitions études-travail et donne quelques pistes de solutions. Ces dernières passent par une politique jeunesse coordonnée, dont l’implantation pourrait être favorisée par des actions au niveau individuel, collectif et institutionnel, de façon à remédier plus efficacement aux problèmes relevés. L’auteure met en évidence les situations problématiques liées à ces transitions et montre que les stratégies visant en priorité la dimension formation-éducation supposent des difficultés d’insertion au marché du travail particulières aux jeunes. Ces stratégies tendent ainsi à minimiser tant le rôle du marché de l’emploi lui-même dans les processus de transition que les difficultés que connaissent aussi d’autres catégories sociales.
