A b s t r a c t :The objective of this paper is to analyze how the location of the workplace influences the location of the maquila wo r ke r s ? housing. This study focuses on the city of Tijuana , Baja California , and is based on the results of the Personnel Turn over in the Maquila Industry survey, carried out in Tijuana in 1991.
