Participation et besoins des élèves ayant un trouble de l’acquisition de la coordination à l’école primaire

Abstract
Au primaire, environ 6 % des eleves presentent un trouble de l’acquisition de la coordination (TAC). Afin de favoriser leur reussite educative, il importe de bien comprendre leurs besoins, particulierement ceux percus par les enfants, les parents et les enseignants. A cette fin, leurs perceptions concernant la participation et les besoins des eleves ayant un TAC ont ete explorees et comparees. Des entrevues semi-structurees ont ete realisees avec 10 enfants ayant un TAC, leurs parents et leurs enseignants. Il en ressort que tous les enfants presentaient des difficultes scolaires. Davantage de services a l’ecole ont ete demandes par les parents et les enseignants. Offrir des services indirects, incluant de la formation et du soutien aux enseignants, serait recommande pour ces eleves.
