Abstract
Resume Au cours de l'activite professionnelle, la cavite buccale dans son ensemble peut etre la cible de traumatismes directs ou indirects ainsi que d'agressions par des agents physiques. C'est aussi une voie de penetration dans l'organisme pour des poussieres ou des substances chimiques, provoquant la survenue de signes locaux isoles ou faisant partie d'une semiologie plus generale reversible sous traitement ou de pronostic plus reserve pour les cancers. Il n'est pas besoin de rappeler l'importance de l'examen clinique pour la mise en evidence des atteintes. Des mesures d'education sanitaire, une reflexion visant a ameliorer les conditions de travail et le port d'equipement de protection sont de nature a reduire les risques professionnels.
