Abstract
Given the magnitude of the AIDS catastrophe in Africaand given that the causes and consequences of this crisis directly involve issues of justice -it is surprising that, to date, no major books addressing AIDS in Africa have been produced by (those who primarily consider themselves to be) bioethicists.As this is one of the most important issues of our time, the lack of bioethics literature is unfortunate and reflects poorly on the discipline of bioethics [1].
