Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

A localidade próxima à Av. Palavras chaves: Drenagem; Gestão Ambiental, Bacia Drenante; Controle de Enchentes, Faria-Timbó.MOTION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT DRAINING THE DO-TIMBÓ RIVER BASIN AIMING AT FLOOD CONTROL IN HIGIENÓPOLIS NEIGHBORHOOD Abstract: The increasing disorganization in urban growth brings, among other problems, the increase in flood spots, which in turn generates large losses to the population of the areas where floods occur. The location next to Av. Além Paraiba, located in the Higienópolis district, is one of those areas that are plagued by heavy rains. This project was conceived in order to propose solutions that can mitigate the problems associated with floods in the region, making the environmental management of the entire drainage basin of the aforementioned area. Through field visits, bibliographic studies and theoretical basis, we analyzed the possible causes of the worsening flood spots on site, in order to propose improvements to the area. Such improvements are sustainable slant measures for the preservation of the environment in its natural state. At the end of the project were proposed interventions that, according to the calculations developed in this project, can absorb and / or mitigate the excess flows. When it was not possible to maintain natural conditions, interventions were designed so as to cause the least possible impact regarding the nature and the people involved. Coming to the conclusion that it is possible to solve the problems with flooding through the proper management of the entire watershedKey Words: Drainage; Environmental Management; Basin Drainer; Flood Control; Faria-Timbó.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
