Abstract
En este informe se presentan los resultados hidrológicos obtenidos durante la campaña Ictio Alborán 0793. Se detallan en él los tipos de masas de agua, su distribución y su circulación a partir de cálculos geostróficos. Los datos ponen de manifiesto los dos remolinos anticiclónicos característicos del mar de Alborán: el occidental, bien desarrollado, y el oriental, de tamaño e intensidad mucho menores.\nLos análisis de oxígeno disuelto y de distribución de nutrientes apoyan los resultados obtenidos a partir de los datos hidrológicos.\nImágenes de satélite tomadas durante la campaña evidencian una estructura térmica superficial en buen acuerdo con los mapas de topografía dinámica. Sin embargo, estas mismas imágenes muestran una gran variabilidad temporal que hacen tomar con cierta cautela los resultados hidrológicos.
