Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Parksville, BC ― The Ministry of Environment (provincial) and Fisheries and Oceans Canada (federal) recently granted permission to proceed with shoreline at the Parksville Community Park. Windley Contracting Ltd will begin work on May 1. Taking into account such factors as weather, the work will be completed as soon as possible. Windley Contracting is a Vancouver Island based company with experience in construction management and general contracting for projects in tidal areas (along the foreshore), and both residential and commercial projects. In November 2007, Council instructed staff to complete the final design and construction of shoreline in the Parksville Community Park using the layered gravel protection alternative, which is a natural approach to shoreline protection. Gravel will be placed to create a typical west coast beach, which is relatively stable under most weather conditions. The City of Parksville will provide a series of status/monitoring reports to the Ministry of Environment and Fisheries and Oceans Canada during the project and following completion of the work.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
