Abstract
Since the entry of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Colombia and Canada it has seen a growth in Colombian exports to Canada, however this growth has not been consistent throughout the period 2007-2014, showing signs of slowing. It is important to realize that not all products exported from Colombia to Canada have benefited from the signing of the FTA between the two countries, some of these have shown signs of decline, highlighting the importance of implementing improvements of competitiveness in the Colombian products, an evidence of that are the products on which it can see an additional effort by Colombia are the most dynamic products after the implementation of the FTA.
