Abstract
La politique foncière agricole française a organisé la sélection de grandes et modernes exploitations agricoles capables de nourrir les Trente Glorieuses puis d’intégrer l’économie agricole capitaliste construite au niveau européen. Elle semble aujourd’hui largement obsolète pour répondre à ses propres objectifs de renouvellement de la profession agricole et de prise en compte des enjeux environnementaux liés à l’activité agricole. Ses outils de régulation de l’accès à la terre restent, dans leur ensemble, contrôlés ou détournés par les professionnels agricoles en place, ce qui freine les nouvelles installations et le développement des démarches agroécologiques portées par des acteurs non issus du milieu agricole 1 .
