Artikel ini hendak "˜merekam' dinamika sejarah militeryang terjadi di Indonesia selama kurun waktu 1947 – 1948, menjelang Agresi Militer Belanda II.Dalam artikel ini akan ditampilkan dinamika militer yang terjadi pada peristiwa Tentara Pelajar(TP) di Sidobunder dan insiden Pasukan Siliwangi di Surakarta. Kedua peristiwa ini mempunyaikarakteristik masing-masing, yang berbeda satu dengan yang lainnya.
