Diego de Covarrubias (1512-1586) es una de las grandes figuras del humanismo espanol y del pensamiento juridico europeo, quien ocupo cargos de relevancia en la Corte de Felipe II. Cuando se cumplen 500 anos de su nacimiento, varios expertos procedentes de diversas instituciones participan en este volumen rescatando de un cierto anonimato su vida y su obra y estudiando el contexto de la epoca que le toco vivir. Especial atencion merece el estudio de su biblioteca particular, ya que ademas de haberse localizado un gran numero de ejemplares que le pertenecieron, se analizan en profundidad la formacion y avatares de su coleccion, asi como sus huellas personales de propietario, lector y estudioso. Esta publicacion tiene como correlato la Exposicion celebrada dentro del Espacio de Cultura Cientifica de la Universidad de Salamanca (Colegio Fonseca, 28 de noviembre de 2012 al 27 de enero de 2013). El volumen recoge las descripciones de las 65 obras exhibidas en la exposicion, acompanadas de fotografias en color y estudios de cada pieza.Dimensiones: 24.5 x 17.5 (cm).Peso: 1180 Kg.Numero de Paginas: 356.Formatos digitales: pdf, pub, mobi.
