Abstract
Existe uma designacao oficial de produtos de apoio referenciada pela norma ISO 9999:2007 que e a seguinte: Entende-se por produtos de apoio, segundo a classificacao da norma internacional ISO 9999:2007, os produtos, dispositivos, equipamentos ou sistemas tecnicos utilizados por pessoas com deficiencia ou incapacidades, de producao especializada ou disponivel no mercado que previnam, compensem, atenuem ou neutralizem as deficiencias, incapacidades e desvantagens para uma melhor funcionalidade no seu dia-a-dia de forma mais rapida, adaptada e com economia de esforco. Os seus principais destinatarios sao todas as pessoas com deficiencia ou com mobilidade reduzida.
