Abstract
Dans un contexte d’évolution constante de la diversité ethnoculturelle, linguistique et religieuse de la population québécoise, il convient d’adopter une éthique de responsabilité réaliste grâce à une approche dynamique de résolution des conflits de valeurs. Cette approche dynamique est rendue nécessaire en raison de l’évolution interne de la société québécoise de plus en plus ouverte sur le monde international et en raison de l’apport continuel de nouveaux immigrants d’origines multiples qui doivent s’approprier graduellement les valeurs et les normes de la société d’adoption. Pour illustrer son propos, l’auteur donne l’exemple de l’expertise professionnelle développée en éducation et relations interculturelles à la Commission scolaire de Montréal (CSDM).
