Abstract
La présente étude vise à témoigner de l’expérience de mères monoparentales québécoises vivant dans un contexte défavorisé en employant la méthode participative Photovoice. Six mères monoparentales ont participé à ce projet de recherche. L’approche phénoménologique sert de cadre théorique et oriente l’analyse des données, effectuée à l’aide de NVivo10. Les résultats permettent d’identifier trois thèmes principaux reflétant le vécu des participantes. Les résultats de cette étude formeront la base d’un outil de psychoéducation et de sensibilisation centré sur les enjeux des foyers monoparentaux matricentriques et destiné aux jeunes et leurs familles.
