Cet article examine la présence des affects dans la relation du cinéaste aux images de remploi (found footage) dans la pratique du cinéma expérimental par le biais de la description détaillée de ceux-ci aux différentes étapes du processus de création. Le regard que pose le cinéaste sur ces images est, selon nous, chargé d’intensités, et s’inscrit dans un continuum oscillant entre affect et analyse. Des affects et intensités se retrouvent dans le travail de création, prennent forme dans le film et sont présents dans leur réception par le spectateur. Ainsi, outre les affects ressentis par le cinéaste devant les images trouvées, les gestes qui seront ensuite posés, visant à modifier leur rythme de défilement, à les altérer, à les marquer, à les colorer, à les dégrader, inscriront à leur tour de nouveaux affects dans la forme adoptée.
