Abstract
Cet article présente une réflexion, issue de la problématique et du cadre conceptuel d’un mémoire de maîtrise, portant sur les facteurs susceptibles de favoriser l’apprentissage de l’écriture en langue seconde par des élèves immigrants allophones nouvellement arrivés au Québec et scolarisés en classe d’accueil. Plus spécifiquement, à la suite de la présentation de deux facteurs qui ont été identifiés, en langue maternelle ou en langue seconde, comme éléments déterminants de la réussite de cet apprentissage, soit l’engagement dans la littératie et le rapport à l’écrit, nous en venons à proposer une nouvelle notion : le rapport à l’écrit teinté du concept d’engagement, que nous nommons le RÉ+. Cette proposition de RÉ+ permet d’entrevoir la recherche en didactique de l’écriture en français L2 sous un angle plus adapté aux populations des milieux scolaires pluriethniques et plurilingues.
