Abstract
Keith Johnstone, professor, teorico e criador pioneiro de praticas de teatro de improvisacao, fundou a Loose Moose Theatre Company em Calgary, em 1977, para demonstrar a impro e uma temporada ambiciosa de pecas, muitas escritas por ele mesmo. O formato de Theatresports de Johnstone foi o veiculo que catapultou a impro e a Loose Moose para o palco mundial no inicio dos anos 80 - a “Era de Ouro”. Porem, na medida que Johnstone comeca a se afastar da posicao de diretor artistico, a reputacao da Loose Moose como uma companhia de teatro inovadora e radical diminui. Por que? Este artigo explora a pedagogia de Johnstone e como ela influenciou sua direcao artistica e formacao e perpetuacao da Loose Moose atraves de sua “Era de Ouro”.
