Abstract

This paper presents a new image encryption design using cellular automata and chaos system. Chaotic behavior exists in many natural systems. Chaos theory concerns deterministic systems whose behavior can in principle be predicted. In this study, the Cellular automata rules created the encryption keys using the matrix with Logistic mapping. Therefore, Two-dimensional Chaos system was used to select the amount of matrix and Encrypted images. At the end, Experimental results showed that the proposed image encryption algorithm has a proper complexity and security with a wide keys space.
