Abstract
Die hoch dosierte Gabe von 0,9%iger Kochsalzlösung zur Sekretolyse bei Pferden mit chronisch obstruktiver Bronchitis -eine Übersicht Pferdeheilkunde 26 162 Einleitung 1980 stellten Deegen et al. "Eine neue Methode der sekretolytischen Therapie bei Pferden mit chronisch obstruktiver Bronchitis" auf dem Kongress der Fachgruppe Pferdekrankheiten der DVG vor.Mit Einführung der Tracheoskopie beim Pferd war den Autoren die hohe Viskosität und Klebrigkeit des Tracheobronchialsekrets bei Patienten mit chronischen Bronchitiden offenbar geworden.Die Idee, das zähe Sekret über massive intravenöse Flüssigkeitszufuhr zu verflüssigen, wurde ihren Angaben nach aus der Humanmedizin übertragen.Mit dem Vortrag hat die Hyperinfusionstherapie zur Sekretolyse bei COB Patienten in die Pferdemedizin Einzug gehalten.Ziel dieses Übersichtsartikels ist es, wesentliche Aspekte der bisher publizierten Erkenntnisse zu Therapie von COB Patienten mittels massiver Flüssigkeitszufuhr zusammenzufassen.
