Abstract
O objetivo deste caso é discutir os diversos impactos que diferentes culturas organizacionais trazem para um negócio. O caso descreve o dilema de um executivo de uma grande companhia americana (Yco), quando esta adquiriu uma grande operação internacional de uma companhia européia (Sab), em manter sua cultura organizacional e estendê-la ao novo negócio. Este caso foca especificamente os impactos e os fatos relativos à operação brasileira (Sab Brasil), pois esta não havia concluído um processo de integração de seus negócios com os de uma companhia familiar brasileira (Fdm) quando da compra da Sab pela Yco.
