Cet article se propose d’examiner les relations entre les orientations politiques et la rhétorique de la communication publicitaire au cours des deux périodes anté- et postrévolutionnaires islamiques en Iran. En prenant appui sur des exemples de publicités cosmétiques imprimées pendant les dernières années de la première période et les premières années de la seconde époque, il tente d’illustrer la fluctuation des stratégies langagières au sein du même genre discursif pour représenter la femme en Iran, elle-même sujette à l’expression d’une idéologie étatique. Le cadre méthodologique est l’analyse textuelle des discours. L’analyse du corpus révèle notamment le changement des dispositions thématiques dans les textes publicitaires et une fluctuation énonciative et stylistique importante d’une période à l’autre, au profit de la construction des identités nationales homogènes à une époque donnée.
