Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Physical activity and training are adopted as palliative treatment of several neuromuscular diseases. However, some diseases, including Autosomal Recessive Spastic Ataxia of Charlevoix-Saguenay (ARSACS) are still insufficiently explored. The objective of this research is to evaluate the impact of training on physical fitness, functional capacity and the degree of spasticity in patients with ARSACS. Thirteen people aged from 17 to 45 years old volunteered. They followed an 8-week training program with physical activities, resistance training exercises and aerobic training. Comparing the results from the beginning to the end of the project, the analysis has shown a significant difference for 11 of the 13 assessments of physical fitness and functional capacity. A decline in upper limb ataxia and an improvement of the coordination was also noticed.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
