Tendo como eixo de analise as relacoes sociais de sexo e sua modificacao como alvo estrategico, os estudos feministas impuseram-se progressivamente como caminho critico e problematizante de transformacao. Em seguida a evocacao das tres grandes tendencias que informaram o pensamento feminista nas ultimas decadas, a autora indaga se o discurso feminista atual participa ainda destes pressupostos. Seria possivel propor um projeto social inedito, fundamentado em um novo contrato entre os sexos e de alimentar uma luta feminista aberta as diversidades e diferencas, sem perder entretanto sua coesao e seu poder de coalisao?
