L'étude des représentations sociales de l'alimentation : une approche développementale intégrative

Abstract
Cet article se veut une réponse aux questions : « Est-ce que les représentations sociales que des enfants d'âges et de cultures différentes se font au sujet de l’alimentation obéissent à des processus similaires de construction? Quelles seraient les influences de l'âge et du contexte socioculturel sur le développement de ces représentations? » Après une brève introduction à la problématique des habitudes alimentaires chez les enfants d’âge scolaire, nous introduirons la notion de représentation sociale, en présentant un aperçu historique des réflexions et en exposant par la suite les grandes lignes des approches classiques et contemporaines de ce domaine en expansion. Ensuite, nous restreindrons le champ de l’analyse en nous référant à l’étude des représentations sociales de l’alimentation chez les enfants dans une perspective interdisciplinaire, et nous proposerons notre propre perspective développementale intégrative. O estudo das representações sociais de alimentação: uma abordagem desenvolvimental integrativa Resumo Este artigo pretende responder a duas questões: As representações sociais sobre a alimentação por crianças de idade e culturas diferentes se formam obedecendo a processos similares de construção? Quais seriam as influências da idade e do contexto sociocultural sobre o desenvolvimento dessas representações? Após uma breve introdução à problemática dos hábitos alimentares de crianças em idade escolar, introduzimos a noção de representação social, apresentando um histórico de reflexões sobre o conceito e expondo em seguida os aspectos mais relevantes das abordagens clássicas e contemporâneas desse domínio em expansão. Em seguida, apresentaremos a análise com referência ao estudo das representações sociais da alimentação em crianças numa perspectiva interdisciplinar dentro da qual proporemos nossa própria perspectiva desenvolvimentista integrativa.
