Abstract
La relève de poste assure la continuité du travail et la fiabilité des informations à relayer d’une équipe à une autre. Cependant, la formalisation et l’organisation de ces périodes de transmission sont plus ou moins pensées selon les situations de travail. Les études montrent que le contenu et le déroulement des transmissions sont bien souvent le résultat d’une activité collective, où l’expérience des opérateurs concernés joue un rôle non négligeable. Notre article aborde ces relations entre expérience et relève de poste à travers trois recherches menées dans des secteurs distincts (hospitalier, aéronautique et ferroviaire). L’expérience concerne ici sa propre pratique professionnelle (notamment du travail de nuit), mais également des connaissances relatives au fonctionnement des collectifs de travail. Les résultats montrent des modifications de l’activité de relève de poste pour s’adapter aux besoins du service ou du collectif, modifications importantes à prendre en compte pour garantir l’efficacité des relèves de poste.
