In September, 2013 the Health Council of released a summary document entitled Better health, better care, better value for all: Refocusing health care reform in Canada [1]. One of the key messages from the document was that while we have made good strides at clinical innovation, the business of healthcare reform needs to be done differently in order to deliver better health, better care and most importantly, better value.
