Abstract
У статті досліджено структуру доходів і витрат університетів Канади й України. Проведено порівняльний аналіз фінансових даних канадських й українських університетів. Зроблено пропозиції щодо активнішого залучення до фінансування діяльності українських університетів коштів обласних і міських бюджетів для виконання фундаментальних і прикладних досліджень, наукових розробок тощо. Вказано на необхідність активізації міжнародної діяльності університетів за рахунок виконання міжнародних проектів із залученням коштів іноземних організацій, а також розробки ефективної маркетингової політики. The article investigates the structure of revenues and expenditures of universities in Canada and Ukraine. The comparative analysis of financial data of Canadian and Ukrainian universities is conducted. Suggestions to enhance the investments from local regional and municipal budgets into the development of fundamental and applied researches, scientific developments etc. A focus is made on the need to foster international activity of universities through the implementation of international projects attracting funding by foreign organizations, as well as the development of\neffective marketing politicies.
