Abstract
Premieres lignes de l'article : Au terme de son voyage et a la fin du catalogue de son itineraire , tel qu’il est decrit dans l’ Hymne homerique a Apollon , Leto « mit le pied sur Delos » . Alors que, apres une longue serie de toponymes restituant le trace de la deesse – sans qu’elle agisse d’aucune facon et sans meme que son nom soit mentionne tout au long d’un voyage-quete orientee dont elle, et elle seule, est la protagoniste –, on s’attendait peut-etre a un changement de strategie, a une action ou, mieux encore, a une suite d’actions bien plus « dynamiques », Leto ne s’avance que d’un seul pas. Quel role joue ce geste dans l’economie du recit, quelles connotations symboliques et religieuses revet- il ?
