Abstract
Le rapport problematique a l’espace/temps n’a pas ete resolu avec la fin de la colonisation, comme en temoigne la multiplicite des recits d’enfance publies par les auteurs caribeens francophones. Ainsi, une etude d’Antan d’enfance de Patrick Chamoiseau (nous ferons aussi reference a Chemin d’ecole et A bout d’enfance), de Ravines du devant-jour de Raphael Confiant, de L’odeur du cafe de Dany Laferriere (nous evo- querons aussi Le charme des apres-midi sans fin) et de Mille eaux d’Emile Ollivier montre que le retour retrospectif sur soi peut s’exprimer de maniere paradoxale pour des ecrivains originaires de Haiti et de Martinique.
