Dari data yang tersedia, sumur LS-XXX diketahui mempunyai nilai productivity indeks sebesar 4.05 BFPD/Psi dan sanggup berproduksi dengan laju maksimal sebesar 1337 BFPD. Artificial lift yang digunakan adalah Sucker Rod Pump dengan gross 113 BFPD, Kadar Air sebesar 72.1 %, dengan nett sebesar 32 BOPD. Berdasarkan parameter tersebut, maka optimalisasi diperlukan guna meningkatkan laju produksi minyak. Optimalisasi desain pompa benam listrik ini diharapkan mampu menggantikan artificial lift sebelumnya dan menghasilkan pemilihan peralatan-peralatan pompa benam listrik yang sesuai sehingga mampu meningkatkan laju produksi secara optimum pada sumur tersebut. Optimalisasi desain peralatan artificial lift dengan ESP (Electric Submersible Pump) di Sumur LS-XXX untuk menggantikan artificial lift sebelumnya yang menggunakan Sucker Rod Pump. Sehingga menghasilkan pemilihan peralatan-peralatan ESP yang sesuai sehingga mampu meningkatkan laju produksi minyak secara optimum. Dari hasil perhitungan menunjukan bahwa laju alir maksimal dari LSXXX sebesar 1337 BFPD. Sumur LS-XXX diharapkan berproduksi pada laju alir 977 BFPD sehingga disarankan memasang pompa seri 400 dengan tipe pompa IND 1000/77.73 stage pada kedalaman (PSD) 1743.9 ft dengan kebutuhan total pompa sebesar 22.458 HP dengan menggunakan protector tipe labyrin. Motor dengan series 456 dengan 25 HP, 690 Volt, 22 Ampere. Panjang kabel yang dibutuhkan sebesar 1843.97 ft dengan tipe kabel #4 flate dengan galvanize armor yang mempunyai kehilangan voltage sekitar 18.44 Volt, sehingga surface voltage sebesar 708.44 Volt. Besar trafo yang dibutuhkan berukuran 50 KVA, sedangkan kebutuhan switchboard (708.44 volt, 22.458 HP, 22 Ampere) sehingga diperlukan switchboard yang lebih besar dari kebutuhan yaitu tipe 45 MFH ( 1000 volt, 70 HP, 45 Ampere). Konsumsi energi yang dibutuhkan untuk kabel tipe #4 dengan 22 ampere sebesar 20.55 - 22.79 KW.
