Abstract
Le fédéralisme de traité pourrait-il être la solution pour concilier les intérêts des communautés autochtones en Amérique avec les documents constitutionnels qui y font autorité ? Ce texte propose un tour d’horizon du fédéralisme de traité, en retraçant sa définition et son historique dans le contexte canadien. L'objectif plus général est d'en dégager la pertinence pour le renouveau constitutionnel des États fédéraux qui se trouvent face à la nécessité de redéfinir leurs relations vis-à-vis différentes communautés autochtones.
