A familia Molossidae e composta por especies de morcegos estritamente insetivoros, que forrageiam na altura do dossel, sendo amplamente distribuida no globo. Molossus molossus (Pallas, 1766) e registrado em todas as regioes do Brasil, tanto em areas urbanas quanto rurais, abrigando-se em construcoes humanas e ocos de arvores. O presente estudo teve como objetivo relatar a ocorrencia de helmintos parasitos do sistema digestorio em M. molossus, uma das especies mais abundantes na area de estudo, provenientes de forros de casas proximas ao alto rio Parana (22 45'S, 53 15'W) no municipio de Porto Rico, estado do Parana, Brasil. Durante o mes de marco de 2012, foram coletados morcegos utilizando-se redes de neblina e captura em abrigos artificiais de morcegos. Foram capturados 31 individuos, sendo 20 femeas e 11 machos e 15 juvenis e 16 adultos.Os morcegos foram mortos e necropsiados, tendo suas visceras e cavidades toracica e abdominal observadas ao microscopio estereoscopico. Todos os parasitos foram fixados em formol 5%, corados com carmim cloridrico, desidratados em uma sequencia de alcool e clarificados em creosoto, dispostos em uma lâmina permanente com balsamo do Canada natural. Dez quiropteros estavam parasitados por cestoides e/ou digeneticos, sendo a maioria deles femeas (6) e adultos (7). Seis individuos estavam parasitados por Paralecithodendrium sp.(Digenea: Lecithodendriidae), sendotres destes co-parasitados por Vampirolepis sp. (Cestoda: Hymenolepididae). Sete individuos estavam parasitados por Vampirolepis sp.Os valores de prevalencia, intensidade media e a abundância media de Paralecithodendrium sp.sao 19%, 27,5 e 5,7 e sobre Vampirolepis sp. 23%, 1,7 e 0,38, respectivamente. A ocorrencia dos grupos de parasitos registradosprovavelmente esta associada a biologia e ao tipo do habitat desta especie de morcego, e com a dieta, exclusivamente insetivora.Os ectoparasitos podem ser hospedeiros intermediarios, mas nenhum dos morcegos coletados apresentava esse tipo de parasito.Os resultados obtidos, contribuem para a ampliacao do conhecimento sobre afauna helmintologica de morcegos brasileiros
