Abstract
Se développant autour des principes de la médecine prédictive, de la médecine personnalisée et de la médecine régénératrice, la nanomédecine se présente comme un domaine transversal qui promet de révolutionner les soins de santé. À cet effet, la nanomédecine est porteuse d’un nouveau paradigme biomédical que Mathieu Noury et Céline Lafontaine explorent à partir du concept de nanosanté. Si la nanomédecine renvoie, de manière générale, aux diverses applications de la nanotechnologie au domaine de la recherche biomédicale, la nanosanté renvoie quant à elle à l’ensemble des effets sociologiques de ces applications. Avec le concept de nanosanté, les auteurs appréhendent conceptuellement la nature et la portée des implications de la redéfinition technoscientifique de la pratique biomédicale sous l’angle de l’application des nanotechnologies aux soins de santé.
