Memorias hegemónicas contadas desde la subalternidad: la construcción de la historia en Memorias de la Pivihuarmi Cuxirimay Ocllo

Abstract
En Memorias de la Pivihuarmi Cuxirimay Ocllo, Alicia Yánez Cossío enfrenta la oralidad a la escritura de la historia para ficcionalizar sobre lo que pudo haber sido la vida de Cuxirimay Ocllo. A pesar del protagonismo de la princesa inca elegida desde su nacimiento para ser la esposa de Atahualpa y que al instante de la ocupación española fue forzada a convertirse en amante de Pizarro, esta ha sido marginada por la historia oficial. Mediante la vuelta al pasado colonial, Yánez Cossío la lleva desde los márgenes hacia el centro y cuestiona las construcciones orales hegemónicas exclusivas de la memoria inca y también la construcción de la escritura de la historia de la conquista española. Mi análisis se centra en las formas en que en la novela se construye y se transmite la memoria/historia tomando en cuenta la apropiación femenina del acto de contar en el cual se destacan los diferentes grados de subalternidad y de construcciones de la otredad desde la mirada del forastero, ya sea esta una mujer andina desterrada en tiempo de los incas, el conquistador español o la misma Cuxirimay, quien sin tener que abandonar su tierra tiene que adaptarse a vivir en un sistema extranjero.
