Abstract
Les programmes jouent un rôle important dans l’enseignement de l’anglais langue étrangère dans les écoles allemandes. C’est aux professeurs de les appliquer et aux auteurs de manuels de les suivre. De là il va sans dire qu’ils ont une certaine influence sur la perception des cultures anglophones chez l’apprenant. Les programmes se basent sur des concepts didactiques développés explicitement pour l’enseignement des cultures dans les cours de langues en Allemagne. Cet article tente d’analyser les principes didactiques essentiels et d’examiner leurs implications méthodologiques. Par ailleurs, il examine les paramètres d’une approche culturelle orientée vers le Canada qui pourrait satisfaire aux exigences de l’enseignement de l’anglais langue étrangère en Allemagne.
