Abstract
EnglishNasal parakeratinosis in dogs is an inherited disorder of corneogenisis belonging to the nasoplantar keratodermas group. A 2-year old yellow male Labrador Retriever was presented for severe painful crusty nasal lesions, that had occurred from a young age and had responded poorly to conventional treatments. Histopathology revealed a major parakeratotic hyperkeratosis. Satisfactory control was achieved with combined Vaseline and propylene glycol topical treatment. francaisLa parakeratose nasale du chien est un trouble hereditaire de la corneogenese appartenant au gropue des keratodermies naso-plantaires. L'histopathologie met en evidence une hyperkeratose parakeratosique majeure. Un tratement topique associant de la vaseline et du propylene-glycol permet un controle satisfaisant.
