Abstract
The author recounts his personal experiences while visiting the Canadian town of Resolute, a place with 100 days of 24-hour sunlight in summer and 80 days of darkness during winter. The visit to the Haughton-Mars Project (HMP), a scientific research base located on the edge of the Haughton meteorite crater on Devon Island is highlighted.
