Abstract
Cet exposé visait à retracer l'historique du Centre interfacultaire de formation des enseignants (Cifen) de l'ULg et à présenter les grands chantiers du Centre pour les années à venir : la réforme du cursus de la formation (cours et stages), l'investissement du Centre dans la formation continue et dans la recherche en didactique. Cette Université d'été interne a été articulée autour de quatre ateliers correspondant aux chantiers susmentionnés. O. Dezutter (Québec) a été le "grand témoin" de cette journée et a présenté une conférence de clôture. Cette Université d'été fut aussi l'occasion de rendre hommage au Professeur J. Beckers qui fut, avec A. Motte et B. Mérenne, à l'origine de la création du Centre. J. Beckers fut la secrétaire scientifique du Cifen pendant de nombreuses années, puis sa Présidente.
