Postures épistémologiques que développent de futurs enseignants de sciences et de sciences humaines lors des cours de formation disciplinaire et pratique : l’apport d’une recherche mixte

Abstract
Dans cet article, une attention particulière est portée aux enjeux méthodologiques que soulève une recherche qui s’intéresse aux postures épistémologiques de futurs enseignants de sciences (science et technologie) et de sciences humaines (univers social). Deux angles d’analyse sont alors privilégiés : les croyances épistémologiques et les rapports aux savoirs. Au cours de cette recherche dite mixte, les dimensions auxquelles ces concepts réfèrent sont interrogées aux moyens d’un questionnaire d’épistémologie et d’entretiens piagétiens. Les données tirées des questionnaires (N=47) ont permis d’observer des différences en fonction des profils d’études ciblés de même qu’une évolution des croyances relatives aux disciplines. Douze sujets ont ensuite pris part à des entretiens au cours desquels ils ont été amenés à argumenter autour des réponses données dans le questionnaire pour après établir des parallèles avec la formation pratique.
