Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The purpose of this study is to analyze the suitability of the 2015 National Curriculum Revision Rationale applied to subjects, as it claims to restructure the curriculum based on the core concept, the big idea, and generalized knowledge presented as fundamental logic to constructing the curriculum standards of individual subjects. The Ontario language curriculum was analyzed to compare it with the Ontario science curriculum which is based on core concepts and big ideas. The study revealed that the language curriculum has the statement structure of content that focuses on obtaining language skills. In comparison, the science curriculum puts core concepts and big ideas on the high level of knowledge structure and the content has the structure to comprehensively state the exploratory skills that need to be performed to understand sub-knowledge as well as the knowledge of the core concepts and the big ideas. Therefore, to avoid distortion, it is suggested that it is reasonable to apply a different logic depending on the subject or logic that suits the purpose or characteristics of a given subject.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
