Abstract
A ? nales de 1945 el Ministerio de Reconstruccion y Urbanismo frances (MRU), lanzo el plan de reconstruccion en Noisy-le-Sec para una zona de 35.000m² que estaba incluida en una declaracion de utilidad publica y emergencia. Esta zona especi? ca estaba prevista para una ciudad experimental de casas prefabricadas en el distrito de Merlan y a la vez para una area de construccion experimental cerca a la estacion de tren. La zona fue escogida de acuerdo con los deseos del ministro Raoul Dautry, quien queria industrializar el sector de la construccion estimulando el uso de prefabricacion: 56 casas, incluyendo 26 fuera de Francia (Reino Unido, Canada, Estados Unidos, Finlandia, Suecia y Suiza). La Ciudad Experimental fue testimonio de una extraordinaria apertura a la innovacion que caracterizo la epoca de reconstruccion de la posguerra en Francia. Fue una cuestion de probar nuevos procesos y materiales, que permitieron reducir las materias primas y la energia usada, simpli? car la implementacion, dar a conocer estas innovaciones, para mejorar tecnicas y contribuir al mejoramiento de asentamientos (confort interior, materiales).
