Abstract
Peu d’études se sont attachées à analyser les stratégies de négociation offertes sur Internet pour accroître les pratiques liées au sexe sécuritaire (safe sex). Ces stratégies nécessitent l’acquisition de compétences communicationnelles complexes. Cet article présente une étude exploratoire de ce thème à travers l’analyse de 46 textes collectés sur des sites Internet anglophones. Avant d’aborder la problématique de la négociation au plan sexuel, préventif et contraceptif, nous présenterons les travaux menés sur la contribution d’Internet à la santé sexuelle dans ses différentes dimensions. Nous présenterons ensuite la méthodologie de la recherche qualitative employée puis les résultats de l’analyse d’un corpus de textes sur la négociation collectés sur Internet. Dans un premier temps, nous présenterons les travaux menés sur la contribution d’Internet à la santé sexuelle dans ses différentes dimensions avant d’aborder la problématique de la négociation au plan sexuel, préventif et contraceptif.
