Des éditions de sources sur la ville au Moyen Âge existent déjà, mais, d’après les auteurs dans leur introduction, aucune ne traite de tous les aspects de la vie urbaine. C’est bien l’objectif de ce recueil centré sur l’espace germanique à la fin du Moyen Âge, qui reprend des extraits d’éditions déjà existantes. Le volume rassemble des documents de trois types, textes, iconographie, objets, collant ainsi aux tendances de la recherche historique sur les villes, qui s’est ouverte depuis longte...
