Abstract
Background: Pancreatic carcinoma (PC) is highly resistant to chemotherapeutic agents (CHT). The most commonly used CHT have very poor response rates even and very low median survival rates (MSR). Several toxic effects are present. Previous results obtaining prolonged MSR free of side effects in colon carcinoma, PC and mammary carcinoma, lead us to carry on this trial using the association of low dose Lachesis Muta venom and trace elements Se, Zn and Mg LMO.
