Tyrimais nustatyta, kad labiausiai nuo klimato sąlygų priklauso puikiojo bijūno veislės ‘Prof. K. Grybauskas’ biometriniai dydžiai, ypač žiedų skersmuo, o mažiausiai – veislės ‘Maironis’. Nepriklausomai nuo bijūnų veislės, išskyrus ‘Skeivienės vėlyvasis’ žiedų skersmenį, krituliai dažniausiai turi teigiamą, o temperatūra – neigiamą poveikį. Klimato veiksniai į bijūnų biometrinius dydžius ir atskirų medžių rūšių – paprastojo ąžuolo (Quercus robur L.), paprastosios eglės (Picea abies (L) Karst.), kanadinės tuopos (Populus ×canadensis Moench) (angl. Canadian poplar) ir paprastojo kaštono (Aesculus hypocastanum L.) – radikalųjį prieaugį veikia skirtingai. Geriausiai klimato sąlygų poveikį atspindi koreliaciniai ąžuolų radialiojo prieaugio ir bijūnų biometrinių dydžių koeficientai. Tarp jų vyrauja neigiami koeficientai – tai rodo, kad klimato sąlygos, kurios yra palankios bijūnų aukščio ir žiedų skersmens dydžiams, ąžuolų radialiojo prieaugio dydį veikia neigiamai. Taip pat nustatyta, kad pagal bijūnų biometrinius dydžius, ypač žiedų skersmenį, galima prognozuoti būsimą šių metų vėlyvosios medienos plotį, o pagal prieš metus buvusius rievių pločius galima spręsti apie būsimus biometrinius bijūnų dydžius.
