Paciente femenina de 3 anos de edad, conocida en la Division de Dermatologia Pediatrica por dermatitis atopica que se ha mantenido bajo control con esteroides topicos y humectantes. La paciente ingresa al servicio de emergencias porque presenta exacerbacion de sus lesiones durante los ultimos 3 dias. La madre refiere que la nina empezo con “pequenas bombitas de agua” en la piel y estas se extendieron por su region inguinal izquierda y luego por la pierna izquierda. La madre ha continuado el uso de betametasona dos veces al dia sobre las regiones afectadas sin ninguna mejoria.
